Last week I played my first event as an professional. I was really excited to begin the adventure. We played at Irene Golf Club which has some tight and tricky holes. The first round wasn't my best round but even though the score didn't show it, I felt like it was really close to being good. I stayed calm and was excited to go out the next day. The second round I got my game really going. I was feeling good and rolled some nice putts in with my new putter (Scotty Cameron select fastback) . My game was coming together and I had a lot of birdie opportunities. After 11 holes I was 5 under par. Unfortunately I made my first bogey of the day on the par 4 12th. I finished with pars and made a round of -4 which brought me back to 6th place in the field. It was nice to have a low one this early in the year. 

My last round was not as good as I hoped. Unfortunately I made a few doubles and bogeys. I couldn't get my game back to where it needed to be. I kept fighting but my putts weren't dropping. I shot 8 over par to finish 14th. I was disappointed to finish the tournament this way. However, in the end I enjoyed my first tournament and I will take all my good vibes with me for the coming tournaments. There are many tournaments in future.
